Painter's palette replica of Amenhotep III
At Aletheia Watercolors, a few times a year we craft a replica of a painter's palette on display at the MET Museum in New York that features an inscription dedicated to Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Just like the original palette, this replica contains six wells with the original pigments, according to bibliographic references: Egyptian blue, malachite green, brown earth, yellow ochre, a red ochre, and finally, vine black.
